In February of 1926, William Schenk completed the blueprints for two-row homes he built on Shelmire Street in Philadelphia. He sold one and lived in the other for many years. In 1960 we moved away from residential construction and began to focus primarily on light industrial properties in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties.
We have built and sold many light industrial properties and we retained a large number of those buildings that now make up our portfolio of flexible space commercial buildings and light industrial buildings. We currently own and manage 29 buildings consisting of 178 individual units covering approximately 1.5 million square feet of space. We have large pharmaceutical companies, smaller single location businesses, and everything in between with the commercial or light industrial classifications.
